Grape Jam

Grapes are well-known fruits that act as antioxidants. This is due to the resveratrol present in them. Grapes are also considered as a "healthy carb" Ingredients: Grapes- 2 cups Sugar- 1 cup Salt- one pinch Method: Blend grapes and sugar together. Add a pinch of salt to this mixture. Pour the mixture into a pan and bring it to a boil. Stop cooking when it reaches a syrup consistency. Be sure to store in a dry clean bottle. Note If you use a clean spoon each use, this jam lasts for a whole month! Video

Whole Wheat Oats Pancake

Ingredients: Whole wheat flour- 1 ½ cup Powdered oats- 1 ½ cup Baking powder- 1 Tsp Baking soda- ½ tsp Sugar- 1 Tsp egg - 3 Milk- 1 ½ cup Salt- ¼ tsp Method: Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Beat egg, adding milk. Pour in the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Mix till smooth in consistency. Heat a pan, add a heaping spoonful of batter. Cook on both sides. Add butter along the process. Serve with Grape Jam! Or any syrup of your choice. Video

Paneer Peas masala

Peas are the ultimate plant protein source for vegetarians. Peas are also rich in vitamins and minerals. Ingredients: Paneer - 1 cup Peas - 1 cup Whole Garam Masalas - Few Onion - 1 chopped Tomato - 1 chopped Bell Pepper - 1 chopped Ginger garlic chopped - 1 Tsp Green chili - 2 Kasuri Methi - ½ Tsp Curry powder - 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder - ¼ tsp Almonds - 1 Tsp Cashews - 1 Tsp Oil/Ghee - 1 tbsp Milk Cream - 1-2 tbsp (Optional) Salt - As required Method: Cut paneer into small pieces, air-fry and keep aside. In a pan heat oil, add green chilies, fry well and add half the chopped onions. Saute well then add the tomatoes. Add cashews, almonds and sauteed mixture to a mixer and grind well and keep aside. Kovakkai Fry

Kovakkai is known as ivy gourd in English. It is a good source of vitamin B. According to Ayurveda, eating few raw kovakkai will treat mouth ulcers and stomach ulcers. This vegetable also lowers blood glucose. Eating this vegetable once a week is good for health. Ingredients: Kovakkai - 1 Cup Chopped Chili Powder - 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder - ¼ Tsp Jeera - ½ Tsp Curry Leaf Powder - ½ Tsp Fennel Powder - 1 Tsp Oil - 1 Tbsp Salt - To Taste Method: Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera, then add chopped kovakkai and saute this well. Now add salt, turmeric powder, chili powder, and curry leaf powder. Mix well. Sprinkle some water then close and cook. Once the kovakkai is cooked well add the fennel powder. Mix well and serve hot with rice or roti. Note: Can use curry leaves instead of the powder. Using coconut oil gives a nice flavor to the dish. Pudina/Mint is loaded with antioxidant. Mint contains menthol is a natural decongestant helps during cold and cough. Ingredients: Pudina - 3 cups Dry Red Chili - 20 # Tamarind - Size of a gooseberry Fenugreek - ½ Tsp Mustard seeds - ½ Tbsp Hing - ¼ Tsp Oil - 4 Tbsp Salt - To Taste Method: Wash and dry pudina leaves and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and after it pops add fenugreek and roast well. To this add the dry red chilis and roast. Now add the tamarind and saute well. Grind this mixture. Heat oil in a pan again and add the pudina leaves. Saute this well until the pudina reduces in size. Add pudina and very little water and oil to the ground mixture and grind well. Then keep a pan and heat oil add the ground mixture. Saute well till the oil oozes out. Now serve with hot rice, idli, or dosai. Note: If stored in a fridge can be used for up to a month. Green Beans are rich in fiber and good sources of vitamins and folic acid. Ingredients Beans - 1 cup Onion- 1 Tomato-1 Ginger and garlic paste- 1 tsp Jeera - ¼ tsp Chilli powder- ½ tsp Coriander powder- ½ tsp Garam masala powder- ¼ tsp Fennel Powder - ¼ tsp Jeera Powder - ¼ tsp Kasuri methi - ¼ tsp Curry Leaves  - 1-2 leaves Oil - 1 tbsp Salt - as per taste Method Heat oil in a pan and add jeera and then chopped onion and sauté well. Then add ginger garlic paste and sauté well till the ginger garlic paste smell leaves. And add the Tomatoes. Sauté until the tomatoes are cooked. Add chili powder, coriander, garam masala powder, fennel powder, Kasuri methi, and jeera powder. Mix well and add the chopped beans. Mix the beans well with the curry, sprinkle some water and close and cook. Once the beans are cooked well add half teaspoon of coconut oil. Serve hot with rice or chapati. Video

Paneer Butter Masala

Paneer butter masala is a popular paneer dish from Indian recipes. Ingredients: Paneer - 1 cup Onion - 1 chopped Tomato - 1 chopped Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tsp Garam Masala Powder - ½ Tsp Red Chili Powder - 1 Tsp Kasuri Methi - 1 Tsp Cashew Nuts - 1 Tbsp Butter - 2 Tbsp Oil - 1 Tsp Salt - As required Cream - ¼ Cup (Optional) Method: Heat oil in a pan. Saute the chopped onions, tomatoes, and cashew nuts together. Grind this mixture into a smooth paste and keep aside. Then heat a pan and add oil and butter to it and once the butter melts add the ginger garlic paste and saute well till the smell leaves. Now add chili powder, garam masala powder and mix well. Immediately add the ground paste and Kasuri methi then mix well. Add salt to taste and allow it to cook on medium flame. Mix now and then till the oil leaves from the mixture. Then add paneer and mix well. Finally, add the cream. Now serve hot with Naan or Roti. Note
