vegetable pulao- Ipot



This Thanksgiving  we had a very good sale in amazon for Instant Pot electric cooker.
So many of my friends got  the IPot.The below recipe is for everyone to try using
their new Ipot.

Ingredients

Basmati Rice - 2 Cup
Water - 3cups
Garam Masala (Cloves, Cinnamon, Bay leaves, Elaichi) To Taste
Shahi jeera - ¼ tsp
Turmeric powder - ¼ tbsp
Fresh ginger 1/4 Piece
Oil/Ghee  - 1 tbsp
Beans 1/2 Cup
carrot 1/2 Cup
Green Peas 1/2 Cup
Soya chunks - ½ cup cooked
curd 3 Teaspoons
Onion - 1  thinly sliced
Mint - 1/2 Bunch
Green Chillies -  2 (Adjust according to taste)
Ginger Garlic paste -  1 Teaspoons

Salt - As per taste






Directions:

In the Ipot select saute option , add ghee; Then add shahi jeera and
Garam masala saute the onion for  sometime till onion become translucent,
Add split green chillies and finely julienned ginger, add the ginger garlic paste,
turmeric powder  saute well.Now add mint and vegetables one by one and
then the required salt;allow them to cook for some more time and then
add curd mix well.Now add the rice and waterand the cooked soya chunks.
Switch to keep warm and then close the lid and press the rice button,
check if the the pressure vent is closed.Cook  until done.
Serve this hot with Cucumber Raita.

Notes :-

Cook soya chunks separately and then add to the pulao.
