Protien Drink
Whey protein is a complete protein. It contains all 9 essential amino acids.
Whey protein is separated from the casein in milk.
Nuts are a good source of Good fats, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, protein, and fiber.
This protein powder is a good source of protein will be a healthy evening drink.
Ingredients:
Almonds - ½ Cup
Walnuts - ½ Cup
Pistachios - ½ Cup
Cardamom Powder - 1 Tsp
Saffron - Few Strands
Milk Powder or Whey Protein Powder - 2 Cups
Turmeric Powder - ½ Tsp (Optional)
Sugar - ½ Cup
Method:
Roast almonds, walnuts, and pistachios.
When this is cooled, add all of it to the mixer jar.
To this add Cardamom powder, Saffron, and Turmeric powder.
Grind this mixture well into a dry powder.
To this add sugar and 1 cup of milk powder and grind again.
Take this mixture into a vessel and add the rest of the milk powder and mix well.
Store this in a clean dry container and use to make a protein shake.
Notes:
Used air fryer for roasting nuts you can roast using a pan.
Can use brown sugar to prepare this.
Used Whey protein powder from sprouts:
Adding Turmeric powder is optional as it
gives nice natural color to the drink along with saffron.
Adding the milk or whey powder to the
groundnuts help to keep the powder dry.
