Cranberry Chutney
Cranberries are often a popular part of Thanksgiving celebrations in the form of cranberry sauce.
Thus, I decided to add a little Indian touch to it and make it a chutney. cranberries are high in

Ingredients
fresh cranberries - 1 cup
Red chilies - 3
Pearl onions- 2 chopped
garlic chopped - 3 cloves
ginger sliced - 1 piece
green coriander bunch - ½
Urad dal, channa dal - 1 tsp
Pepitas - 2 Tsp
Mustard seeds- ⅙ tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt - according to taste
Directions
Heat some oil in the pan and add mustard, once it starts to crackle add urad dal,
channa dal, and red chilli.
Fry for few mins. Add garlic once the garlic is roasted add ginger and onion
(saute well) and then add the cranberries.
Let it cook on medium heat till they are completely cooked and cranberries
are softer.
now add the chopped coriander cover it with lid and let it cook.
Add the salt according to your taste.
When completely cooked put the mixture in the blender add the
pepitas and blend it to a fine paste. Your tasty chutney is ready.
